Southway is a Baltimore cover band comprised of local musicians, Ellen Nusgart (Lead Vocals & Keys), Steve Topel (Lead Guitar), Bob Cushner (Lead & Backing Vocals & Rhythm guitar), Charlie Hodge (Bass) & Mickey Abrams (drums and backing vocals).  The band was formed in August 2016 and has been playing local bars and events on a regular basis.  With Ellen’s powerful voice, Southway covers a wide array of popular rock songs, such as The Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Clapton, Van Morrison, Carole King and many others. The band enjoys adding new material and exploring a wide range of artists, to keep things fun and full of energy.
